Anganwadi kids had no proper set-up to study. We have always been active supporters of the Anganwadis of Kachchi Basti. These initial years, when kids are in an Anganwadi, are the most important years for a child’s growth.
Anushree Foundation brought a proper education set-up for these kids. We counselled their parents and told them the importance of education, not just at Anganwadi, but at home too. Further, there was a storage box given to the teacher and we made sure by regular visits that all the kids of that Anganwadi are comfortably studying and looking forward to their next phase of education in proper government schools.
