On a chilly Sunday evening, someone rang the bell of my home. There was a woman with her three kids probably between ages 5 to 11, if I may guess. She was here to register her two elder daughters and a 5-year-old son in the classes that I ran for migrant workers’ kids in the evening.
She was emphasizing teaching her girls, “Women Empowerment!” proudly shouted my inner-self to me! “In what classes should I register them?” I asked her. With some hesitation, she said, “Enroll them all in the first standard along with their little brother, they’ve never been to school before.”
“But why don’t you register the elder ones for higher classes? They can easily catch up!” I asked with a puzzled look on my face. What she told me next was unsettling to the core, as a woman, and as a human being. She said, “Madam, I am educating my girls so that they can teach and help their younger brother in his studies. I, myself, am not educated; why do girls need education? Their future is in household chores. These efforts are just for a few years till my son settles down in studies.”
All she cared for was his future, she was least bothered about the future of her girls.
Her words gave me a hard-hitting realisation that – Women are still considered secondary citizens! That was the moment when I decided that just educating kids was not enough. A greater good is the need of the hour, and there are various verticals where we, as a society, can improve, and must improve. That’s when I decided that a proper framework with a focused vision would be required. A vision of making a change to REBUILD LIVES. That was the foundation stone of Anushree Foundation.

Anushree Dasot, an MBA in Finance, boasts a corporate career spanning multinational banks and IT giants, including stints at Deutsche Bank, Genpact and Yahoo. However, her heart always gravitated towards social welfare. Inspired by her father’s charitable endeavours, she seamlessly combined her corporate acumen with her passion for community service. Apart from actively serving underprivileged communities through Anushree Foundation since 2017, Anushree has been a pivotal figure at FICCI FLO Jaipur for over six years, championing CSR initiatives. Her commitment to empowering the marginalized, particularly women & children, illuminates her multifaceted journey.

Shubham Agarwal combines her MBA and CA qualifications to bring over 15 years of nuanced experience from her tenure at eminent institutions like Morgan Stanley and Moody's. Currently the Chief Compliance Officer at a brokerage firm, she possesses deep expertise in tax matters. Beyond her professional commitments, Shubham actively contributes to tax-related articles in esteemed publications, including the Economic Times, underlining her industry acumen and commitment to financial literacy.
Heena Singh brings forth an impressive 16 year tenure in the intricate domains of M&A and corporate advisory, venture capital, private equity, restructuring, and more. Previously, a Partner at AZB & Partners, Delhi, her move to TT&A in 2022 was another milestone in her illustrious career. Heena's commendable portfolio includes advising various marquee clients including multi nationals, funds, promoters. An alumna of the National Law University, Jodhpur, Heena’s profound insights and legal prowess make her an invaluable asset in the world of corporate law.
Sachin Sogani, the driving force behind Finesse Stock Broking Services Pvt. Ltd., has carved an impressive niche in Algorithm Trading over an expansive 17-year journey based out of Jaipur. Formerly a Relationship Manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank, his prowess led him to stellar accolades, notably becoming the biggest franchisee of Anand Rathi in 2022-2023 and consistently ranking amongst the top three countrywide since 2015. He has an extensive experience in developing and maintaining relationships with Ultra High Net worth families and corporate. Dr. Mohit Poddar, a distinguished paediatrician holds an MD in Pediatrics with a specialized Fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Poddar's commitment to research is evident from his notable papers and participation in prominent clinical trials. As the founder of 'Sumeet, The Creative Catalyst', he brings vast experience from cinematography & editing to strategic digital initiatives. With his adept skills in post-production and deep understanding of documentaries and AD films, Amit's influence in determining the quality of content is profound. Amita Dasot, a compassionate counselling psychologist, specializes in aiding individuals affected by faulty conditioning and childhood traumas. She works closely with children, teenagers, and adults to delve into their inner emotions and address these buried adversities. Currently, her focus lies in assisting children with learning disabilities, helping them integrate into mainstream life. A seasoned artist with numerous exhibitions under her belt, Amita especially excels in watercolour painting, using it as a therapeutic tool to help people express and resolve their emotions and thoughts.
Rakhi Paliwal is a paragon of dedication in both social work and politics. Hailing from the quaint panchayat of Nathdwara in Rajasthan, she made headlines as the youngest 'Up-sarpanch' of the state, demonstrating her prowess early on by winning the village panchayat elections right after her school.
