Shades of Hope
Anushree foundation supported a thoughtful cause of Rajasthan police at Mahila Jail. This project will always be engraved as an empowering change in the history of Mahila jail all over Rajasthan. As a part of this reform, the colour of the prisoners’ uniform was changed from white to sky blue, which represents hope, growth, and liveliness. The change was a break from the tradition of wearing white, which was associated with widowhood, sadness, and struggle. The new uniform colour inspired the prisoners to start their journey towards reformation.
Urinal Genius
In remote areas and villages in India, schools often lack proper toilet facilities, with only a vent for boys to urinate and a shared toilet for both staff and students. This poses several problems such as unhygienic conditions. To address this issue, Anushree Foundation came up with a low-cost urinal solution using recyclable plastic water jars, which was created by senior students with the help of a local plumber. The installation of these urinals has improved hygiene conditions in the school and can serve as a sustainable solution to similar problems in other parts of India.
Levelling the Playing Field
Smart classrooms use technology to create an immersive and engaging learning environment, where students can learn by experiencing things. Anushree Foundation provided a projector to the school to create a smart classroom, which helped the students to understand difficult concepts with ease. This method not only increased the attendance of the students but also encouraged them to participate in the classroom.
Digital Equalization
Anushree Foundation identified the need for computer education in a remote school in Badli and provided support by giving working computers and an inverter to overcome frequent power cuts. This has enabled senior students to acquire computer skills and increase their chances of employment after graduation. The initiative has brought a positive impact on the school community and has motivated students to attend classes regularly.

When AF visited Chattarpura, Senior Secondary School, it was very evident after listening to the kids’ story especially higher classes how their quality time and efforts are wasted traveling to the city area to procure books. The little ones they must be lucky to inculcate the habit of book reading as their school was only providing them with course books. AF decided to gift these kids a Library. A survey was conducted to know the needs of the students, Books, Almiras’, desk & chairs were procured for the student and their dream library was in their campus. It is well said “When in doubt, visit a library.”
Building Bridges of Knowledge
Anushree Foundation team supported Baldi government school with infrastructural development to provide a safe and clean environment for students to study. They levelled the flooring, built new classrooms, and ensured safe drinking water and water for handwashing. This has reduced student diversion during classes and increased motivation to work hard. The students now have access to a better learning environment, which can have a positive impact on their education and future.
